Home' The Planting : The Planting 2012 Programme Contents Ringing bells, smashing sticks, waving
hankies and spreading futility (nay,
surely fertility?) - through the land, these
combined Morris sides are our guests
as the cultural group to plant this year’s
ceremonial tree. They will also appear,
furtively, on the streets, and teach a
Maypole Dance for kids and adults to be
a part of the tree planting on Sunday.
